We were weekend warriors! My weekend project was to tackle my guest bath with wallpaper. With a little help from my Mom, I turned the sky blue box into a glamorous place much to
pretty to do any "bathroom stuff" in. Take a look at the before and after shots, let me know what you think.
Before
After
Richard and the new front door finally made peace with each other. (With a little help from his father in law...) It now closes perfectly. We put new evergreen trees out front to help frame it.
Our home projects are such a great distraction for us. They bring us instant gratification and keep us very busy. We need prayers in the coming weeks though. Lilly has been gone for 6 weeks now. We just can't believe we have lived without her for that long. The reality of the permanence of our situation is definitely sinking in. She would have been 5 months old today, that too is hard to believe. Richard's birthday is on Sunday and Mother's day is not far behind that. We need continued prayer for strength and peace and to find our joy in each other and celebrate life the best we can.
Thank you again for the love everyone continues to show us!
Beautiful bathroom!! Gorgeous! You have great taste. Yes, and prayers your way very often. God bless you as you press on, ejw
ReplyDeleteI linked to your blog through quite a long prayer chain, but know that I am praying for you (in Alabama, no less). I will be praying specifically for birthdays, mother's day, and other milestones that I just can't imagine. I am praying that you will find comfort in the Lord and in each other...I just am so sorry.
ReplyDeleteI am SO IMPRESSED with your home improvement projects! That bathroom is AMAZING! I LOVE the wallpaper -- what style/brand is it? I'd love to recreate your look at my house (since I live in Alabama, we'd probably never have any of the same people over) :-)...
Love the bathroom! Great choice on wallpaper. I just love anything black & white. Jeremy and I pray for you and Richard almost everyday, and we will continue to do so. Thank you for sharing so much of your life, with so many people.

Lisa
I will so be in prayer for you in the upcoming days and weeks. My first daughter only lived for 30 minutes and I can't imagine having her for the time that you did and then now it has been 6 weeks without her. My heart just rips for you. I know you want this blog to be upbeat. I know it is only by His grace that you are even making it right now. Much love and prayers.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwsome bathroom! Do I need to come to Dallas and help? I'm great at telling people what to do -- chuckle.
