Mia is almost 2 weeks old now and what an adventure we are having! Sleeping on her own is improving - thank you to everyone for your great suggestions! My Mom and I came down with the stomach flu last weekend, so Richard had to play single parent. We are all better now, and Mia never got sick. It was scary, but also a lesson that we have to be diligent and wise as her parents, but trust that God is in control!
So far, Mia has a great personality. She rarely cries, but she is always talking. We joke that it is an answered prayer to always know that she is breathing!
Here are some more pics...
Mia hanging out in her Boppy Pillow.
After bath picture. She can't decide if she likes the water or not yet...
Another photo shoot with Dad. Mia is on the amazing quilt made by me dear friend Katy.
Jenn, I love your new title, that is perfect. And the pictures of your two sweet girls is very very special. Love all the new pictures of Mia, and I love how tiny she looks on Katy's big quilt, it'll be neat to see her grow as big as the quilt! Love, j

ReplyDeleteI miss little Mia so much. Those pictures are great. What a gift.
ReplyDeleteShe is so beautiful, and maybe it's my imagination, but she seems very alert and aware for a 2 week old baby... so much younger than I would have guessed from her pictures.
ReplyDeleteShannon
I also immediately thought from Mia's photos that she looks so alert for 2 weeks. Both your daughters are amazingly beautiful. We are praying for you.

ReplyDeleteWhat cute pictures! Mom was saying that Mia inherited Dad's legs. That quilt picture confirms it! She definitely got Dad's little bird legs! :) Love you guys! Praying for you all!
