Mia has developed a fear of dogs recently. I am not sure what started it, but she feels really insecure when there is one around. We did find one solution for her to play with her dogs though. If I open the window to the backyard, she will throw their ball from there. It is so cute, they just set the ball up on the ledge for her to throw.
We have been loving the beautiful fall weather. Lots of walks and learning about God's creation. Mia and I are both doing BSF bible study this fall as well. I find it challenging and rewarding and love that Mia has learned so much their too. If I say "God gave us the..." She will yell BIBLE! She still loves Dora and now quotes it often. I hear "no Swiper" and MAP!, and "backpack, backpack" a lot around my house. Here are some pictures of the fun...
Mia and her Daddy ready to cheer on the Aggies. Although it is a sensitive subject around our house, we are teaching her that we are fans regardless of how it goes!
She loves kisses from her Daddy!
First haircut! She went to my hairsalon and saw Marc. She has a lot of hair, so this will not be her last trip!
The "after" picture. It is a little bob with bangs. Pretty cute.
Enjoying the pretty weather.
Sporting her fabulous fairy wings.
"kick'n it" in her rain boots.

Mia and her Daddy dancing in the living room. She loves to dance, but will only do it if her babies can dance too. So Richard is dancing will all of them!

Mia's friend Egan had a mini-sleepover while his parents went on a date. They both had rockstar jammies on. Too cute. I love the adoring look in her eyes and the concern in his. Classic!
Walk to get an afternoon treat. Mia is having her first slurpie and was pretty thrilled!
Sporting her sunglasses and enjoying Dora fruit snacks. I know they are not organic and have no nutrient value...but it was the cheapest Dora option and it stopped her from yelling "DORA!" at all of the pictures in the grocery store. Dora is everywhere!
Big news!!! My baby sister, Chelsi, is getting married! She got engaged to Brandt this weekend. We are so excited for them. Congrats you guys! Aren't they adorable???
What an amazing and blessed life we lead. Richard and I celebrated 7 years of marriage this month too. While it has not always been perfect, I know we are perfect for each other. In trying to toast our marriage, I started crying because I was overcome with the blessings in my life. I hate that I had to be so humbled to recognize them all, but I am so grateful for the clarity!
Richard and Mia, I love you both so much!
Such a sweet, precious post!
