I am posting at Dallas Moms Blog today about my REAL experience with SIDS. I don't talk about the specifics of what happened to Lilly often, but God really put it on my heart to share it. I hope it makes a difference to someone.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I enjoyed some good family time, girl time (that included retail therapy and pedis!), and relaxation time. So...bring it on Monday, I am ready (and so are my toes)!

Love you, friend. Proud of you for being willing to share something that is not easy to talk about. I just read your post and am certain the information & knowledge you shared will help many motheres!
ReplyDeleteI found that as I was reading that post I was holding my breath the whole time ... I can't even halfway start to fathom what you and your family went through. I think you are so brave to share your story. I've been a reader for a long time and, on a side note, love your decorating ideas!
ReplyDeleteAnyhow that had to be hard to write and I found some really helpful information!
Once again another depiction of how gracefully you guys have walked through every parent’s worst nightmare. I know I learned things that I did not know and am assured other people did also. For you to step out and talk about something so difficult so that others never have to go through that is such a testament!! Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteOh Jenn, I am so proud of you for writing that blog post...can't imagine how hard that must of been to put to paper. I'm sure it was helpful to so many moms out there. Love, love you sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for writing this very difficult post. I have been reading your blog for 4 years (I linked from a friend of a friend...) and am always inspired by you. I am now the mom of a 5 month old baby boy and want to make his environment as safe as possible. Your post made me resolve to make sure that all of his caregivers have this information. Thank you for sharing and for your testimony.
