I had the privilege of attending a special event this weekend for Village of Hope. They are an amazing organization helping orphan children in Uganda. My heart broke as I heard the stories of the children and what they have had to endure. It is really unspeakable!
My children want for nothing and fuss over food choices I make for them. These children would eat anything and are grateful for everything. I bought some of the amazing jewelry and my family has decided to sponsor a child, but I want to do so much more!
In the spirit of giving, I have decided to give away a design board! All you have to do to be eligible, is make a donation or purchase on the Village of Hope site. Then you can comment, email, or facebook message to be entered to win. For additional entries, share the giveaway on facebook, twitter, or your blog. Leave a comment for each entry. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on Saturday 12/8/2012.
There are lots of donation options on their site including buying shoes or mosquito nets for the children. You can purchase jewelry or bags, or even sponsor a child. The funds will be used to build homes, provide food, clothing, education, and medical care to over 500 orphans.
